Local community groups trained on basic accounting and book keeping.

The Royal Society for Protection of Nature provided a week long training on Open Book Accounting System to the selected members of Amtshui Phenday Tshogpa (Women’s Group) & Phobjikha Environmental Management Committee (PEMC) from 13-17 April 2009.A total of six members responsible for treasury participated in the training. The main objective of the training was to i) build the capacity of the local community groups in basic accounting and book keeping. ii) ensure sustainability and proper management of the community fund.
