25 June 2008- ANNOUNCEMENT Bhutan Water Partnership (BhWP) carries out activities and programs related to water management, sanitation, women and environment conservation. It has over the years supported the implementation of small projects and activities across the country. The main objective of such programs are the promotion of health and sanitation in rural areas, to make people aware of “water” as a fast depleting natural resource and to educate community people about the importance of clean drinking water and sanitation.
Interested institutions, community groups and organizations may submit the proposal to the BhWP Secretariat with the duly filled Proposal Application Form. Please note that the last day of submitting you proposal is 15th July 2008, though the validity of your application is for one year. The maximum project fund is Nu. 60,000 as indicated in the proposal application form. The applications will be evaluated and the selected proposal will receive the acknowledgement and other instructions from the Secretariat one week after the last date of submission.
