| Ground breaking ceremony of RSPN Head office conducted |

 After about three years
of ‘Salang
Thrisoel' ceremony, the ground work for the construction of the long awaited
RSPN Head Office in Kawangjangsa was seen in a simple ceremony on 20th
June, 2009.
Attended by the Executive Director of RSPN and staff, the day
marked yet another milestone in the history of RSPN. Since its conception in
1987, RSPN shifted its work place from one location to another as it did not
have one for itself. While the construction is expected to complete in eighteen
months at the estimated cost of over Nu.33.3 million, this project will enable RSPN
to have a central permanent office equipped with new eco-friendly technology
and light-weight construction materials used for the first time in Bhutan.
