Introductory Workshop on Corporate Social Responsibility |

Royal Society for Protection of Nature (RSPN) in collaboration with Bhutan Chamber of Commerce and Industries (BCCI) is organising an 'Introductory Workshop on CSR' in Bhutan on January 28, 2008. RSPN is a leading non-profit organisation working on environment conservation and sustainable development in Bhutan. It is also one of the founding members of South Asia Forum on Responsible Business (SAFoRB), an alliance formed by 25 civil society organisation from 8 SAARC countries, Red Puentes in Latin America, MVO Platform in Netherlands and Novib in Netherlands to promote responsible business in South Asia region.
The proposed workshop in Bhutan will be first in the country on the subject, aiming towards understanding CSR and its relevance in Bhutanese context. SAFoRB members from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Maldives and Sri Lanka will be the resource person for the workshop.
