UPDATE The 9th Annual Black-necked Crane Festival is going to be held on 12th November, 2007 at Gangtoe Goenpa in Phobjikha under Wangdue phodrang Dzongkhag. It is being organized by Phobjikha Environment Management Committee (PEMC), a local community group.
Program for the festival is as follows: 08:30 A.M. Reception of Chief Guest 08:45 A.M. Marchang Ceremony 09:00 A.M. Opening speech by the PEMC Chairman 09:15 A.M. Speech by Chief Guest 09:30A.M.
