Three Black-necked Cranes sighted in Punakha

December 16, 2011 – Pho Chhu, Punakha: Early today, three Black-necked Cranes were sighted at Tsekhathang in Pho Chhu, Punakha. According to RSPN’s Asstt. Researcher, Mr. Tshewang Norbu in Pho Chu, an informer from Tsekhathang, informed that two  adult BNCs and one juvenile were sighted at the banks of Phochu. We will update on the story as and when we receive information from the field.

In the past few days many cranes were spotted in different areas where it was not sighted before.
