WBH annual population survey 2023

Dear all,
Cheers! We are able to successfully conclude the WBH population survey and BNC population survey for the year 2023. It is all because of our collaborative effort and and as well as strong leadership guidance by our chief. We will look forward for the same spirit in any field of our works.
Meanwhile, we will start to analyse the data and develop the report. If you wish to contribute, welcome anytime.

Surveyor's say

“The team surveyed and monitored for White-bellied Heron covering areas all the way from Kanteng till Tsharzam check post. The data collection was done using Epicollect5 data collection mobile app. During the period of five-day survey, the targeted bird i.e. White-bellied Heron was not spotted. However, few other shore bird species were observed along the riverside and the geo-coordinates and other information saved in the data collection app are uploaded at the end of each survey. During each survey periods, we have started the survey from early morning (i.e. 7 am) till late evening (i.e. 6 pm)”
